BIBILICAL BLESSINGS OF SUPPORTING CHARITY

  • God created first an Environment then RELATIONSHIP , Then Work ( We must take care of relationships)
  • Stinglyness is a curse affects even self ( Build a house not live in it, plant a field not its fruit etc)
  • Parable of the Good Samaritan the Hearten like Good Samaritan was considered to have done better than the priest. ( Good Samaritan administered Emergency help ( Dressing the wounds, Follow-up & long term (in an inn & meeting the need)    Luke 10 : 25-37
  • Mixing faith with works by showing physical act to a wounded person or needy James 2:14 -26).
  •  The assignment given to us by Jesus is to Set captives free ( Not only demonic), Good news to others,
  • Taking care of the seed of God of destiny. Jesus Born in a major of a hospitable person,  David preserved by Jonathan ,  Moses received from the sea as a strange child later became the deliverer,  Encouragement
  • Rahab was favoured and spared for her generosity (WELCOMING STRANGERS ATTENDING TO ANGLES              ) Abraham welcomed angles through a heart of hospitality and heard a message.
  • Don’t be stingy / enclosed/  ( Business ideas, jobs, tenders, Marriage partnerships important information will come through interactions)  Business teas, After Church meetings,  etc
  • Any form of Charity or concern you show is a seed. ( A generous soul will prosper those who water others will be watered   Pvbs 11:24-25) Do not grow wearily to do good especially those in the house hold of faith.
  • God hears the prayers of those who show concern and bless othersWhoever ignores the needy, hurting he himself will cry God and God will not hear  Pvbs 21:13 (Cornelius was heard UNSUALLY because of his generosity to others Acts Chpt 10: 12)One of the reasons for your blessing (Blessed to blessing Abraham Genesis 12         )Children of Israel were instructed not to be selfish in the land of blessings
  • Proper relationships and interaction is a Fruit of the Spirit More superior than GIFTS, YOU CAN FAKE GIFTS BUT NOT THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT,  Galatians 6:      Kindness, goodness (generosity), gentleness, peace, love, long suffering.
  • The Test of stewardship is not how we treat others but how we treat others. Paul worked hard for himself and those that were WITH HIM. Ist Thess 5:15, 2:17.  Paul exhorted the blessed not to be proud but Be generous and show concern to others                  (RICHES IS NOT ONLY MONEY – SMILE, ATTENTION ETC.
  • A sign of Loving God. You cannot clame to love God and you are unconcerned or hate a brother that you see. DEEP SPIRITUALITY is intimidation not a sign of loving God.
  •  Key to prosperity ---- Majority of the rich who enjoy there wealth they are generous people  ( Top billionaires run charity)
  • Early Church gave generously and attended to each other ( No one had need they sold land to give that the ministry had no need that the overflow was felt by all others  Act 2, When peter was arrested the people prayed vigoulosly at NIGHT DENEYING THEMSELVES SLEEP. Act       Send Food to Judea when their was a draught
  • Protection and Long life. Dorcas was raised from the dead because of her concern for others. Mourners displayed her works of mercy that she did ( Acts 9:36)
  • You will be raised in time of illness, preserved from trouble, deliverance from God in times of affliction Ps 41:1-6
  •  Banking with God to be refunded or Withdraw in time of need( Tangible or emotional gifts). Pvbs 19:17
  • We demonstrate Christ to the People with tangible fruit of love. You shall know them by their fruits,   John 17      the world will know that they are mine when they live in love and Unity.
  • Key to evangelism Evangelism—Cults have been able to win people for being available in disaster regions to WIN peoples heart.
  • Fulfilling righteousness --- The rich young ruler was obedient in many areas but was stingy about the needs of others Mark 10: 17-23
  •  Gifts of the Holy Spirit are given, released and maintained by Love.  1 corithians 13: 1-9
  •  Paul instructed the church in Galatians to take care of the hurting/ and the poor and he was very eager to do so himself. ( Gal 2:10)
  •  A prudent Wife has a law of Kindness Pvbs 31: 26
  • Jesus was generous to feed 4,000 / 5,000 people respectively showing the acts of a Christian NOT sending them away.
  • The early church appointed 7 leaders to take care of the Widows Acts 6
  •  Moses appointed 70 and other leaders to attend to the needs of peoples.
  • YOU ARE YOUR BROTHERS/ SISTER  KEEPER

 MODEL OF “HELPERS OF AFRICA”

BIBLE TEACHINGS OF GOOD SAMARITAN (LUKE 10:30-37)
